I’m a certified Buteyko breathing practitioner and founder of Suffolk Breathing Coach. Before working in breathing and wellbeing, I spent over 30 years as a professional social photographer, a career that required strong personal connection, creativity, and the ability to help people feel at ease. Living and working with ADHD and dyslexia brought many joys, but also significant stress and, over time, the physical consequences that often come with it.

In 2020, a close friend and Buteyko instructor suggested I attend one of her breathing courses to address my own dysfunctional breathing. The impact was life-changing. My sleep apnoea resolved, my stress levels reduced, my general fitness improved, and I lost over 10 kg — all through breathing retraining, lifestyle awareness, and consistent practice rather than medication or sleep aids.

Inspired by these changes, I went on to complete the Buteyko Certificate Training – Live, In Person with Patrick McKeown in 2025. Today, my mission is to raise awareness of dysfunctional breathing and support people of all ages in learning calmer, more efficient breathing — helping them live with greater energy, confidence, and resilience.
